Spinella DR. PHILIP C SPINELLA, MD FCCM, Director of the Critical Care Translational Research Program in the Division of Critical Care, Department of Pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis.  Dr. Spinella leads two large international research networks; the pediatric critical care blood research network, Blood Net, and the Trauma Hemostasis and Oxygenation Research Network.  Spinella retired from the US Army as a Lt. Col.  He was awarded Bronze Star and a Combat Medic Badge. Ness 005 DR. PAUL NESS, MD, Director of Transfusion Medicine Division at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and professor of Pathology, Medicine, and Oncology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.  Dr. Ness serves as  PI for Johns Hopkins’ Transfusion Medicine Hemostasis Clinical Trial Network,  funded by NHLBI and is the co-PI for the NHLBI  REDS III program.  Dr. Ness is the editor of Transfusion.
Peter Rhee MD DR. PETER RHEE, MD, Chief of Trauma, Critical Care, Burns and Emergency Surgery and Professor of Surgery at the University of Arizona. Dr Rhee is a founding member of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care Committee (TCCC), serves on Defense Health Board’s Subcommittee on Trauma & Injury and is a member of the Food and Drug Administration’s Blood Products Advisory Committee. Dr. Rhee retired from the US Navy as a Captain after 24 years of service.  1 DR. EDWARD SCOTT, MD, CEO and founder of Key Biologics, LLC. Previously from 1986 to 2008, he was CEO of the Memphis, TN based Mid-South Regional Blood Center which does business as “Lifeblood.” Dr. Scott has been an active proponent and innovator of cell therapy for many years. He believes that cell therapy offers the potential for a step change in medical care and is personally committed to supporting the creation of products and services that will help assure the industry’s success.
