August 6, 2009 - U.S. Navy Awards Entegrion Contracts for $4 Million for the
The U.S. Navy has awarded two additional contracts to the life sciences company Entegrion, Inc., for implementation of the company’s proprietary technologies to improve the safety and availability of blood-derived products for treating combat injuries. Recent medical research has demonstrated that such blood component therapy is essential in responding to traumatic injury, especially on the battlefield. The base contracts total about $4 million, with an additional $2 million for expanded research.

February 18, 2009 - Stasilon® Ascends Mount Kilimanjaro!
Late in 2008, Entegrion provided sample kits of Stasilon® to the Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) Foundation for distribution to its board members and medical advisors. HHT is an inherited disease that is associated with abnormal blood vessel anatomy leading to internal and external bleeding that can be life threatening. Nosebleeds are a particular nuisance for these patients since most materials used to stop the bleeding stick to the clot and dislodge it, leading to more bleeding. In addition, because the clot is not left in place, healing of the vascular network cannot proceed normally.
