Richard E. Martin, CPA

Vice President, CFO: more than 25 years of experience in accounting, finance, and operations with emphasis on healthcare services and technology companies. Significant experience with financing biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical, and early stage technology companies. Broad finance and operations background including public companies, strategic partnering, manufacturing, international operations, and public accounting.

 


 
Carr J. Smith, Ph.D.

Vice President of Product Development: experienced toxicologist, appointed Diplomat of the American Board of Toxicology in 1994. Former member of the Internal Review Board (IRB) at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Extensive experience in contracting for external corporate research and project management.
 

Joseph A. DaCorta

Chief Technical Officer: more than 25 years of healthcare experience in bio-defense and homeland security. Retired Navy Medical Service Corps officer and once served as Head of Expeditionary Medicine at the US Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory where he tested technologies relating to combat trauma and  environmental health problems. Experience in federal acquisition procedures, global commercialization and formations of public and private partnerships.

 

Richard A. Kendall, Vice President, Stasilon Sales and Marketing

 Mr. Kendall brings nearly 20 years of medical/surgical sales experience to Entegrion.  Of particular note is his experience with Baxter Healthcare for over 10 years during which he rose from area representative to National Director, Sales & Business Operations for the newly created BioSurgery division.  In that position, he was part of the team that introduced Tisseel Fibrin Sealants to the U.S. market and grew the business to revenues in excess of $200 million annually.  Mr. Kendall then joined Covidien as Vice President, Sales – Covidien Sports Surgery with the primary responsibility for developing a sales network of independent surgical sales representatives and distributors that grew under his leadership to include 3 regional managers, 15 sports surgery specialists, 75 independent representatives, and a director of sales training.

 

   
  Bronwen Nishikawa, Ph.D.

Director of Patents and Trademarks: formerly Manager of Intellectual Property with KaroBio USA, Inc., and Technology Development Associate with the Office of Technology Development with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

 

 

Mike Galiger

Manufacturing and Engineering Manager: More than 10 years of experience in medical and consumer products industries. A successful track record in new product development, manufacturing start-up, and plant engineering.  Formerly served as the director of new product development and strategic sourcing at Charter Medical.

 

Lori Savage

Office Administrative Assistant: Mrs. Savage joined Entegrion in January 2008 and has a degree in Business Management from Radford University.  Her prior experience includes Meeting and Event Planning for the National Association of Credit Management in Tampa, Florida, as well as being the Executive Assistant for the Vice President of Marketing for SITA, an airline transport and IT solutions company located in Atlanta, Georgia.
